Richard’s work consists of a prolonged journey through an imaginary post-apocalyptic world. which conveys the overwhelming scenery of the forthcoming. The constant appearance of ruins where civilizations have crumbled through time and the struggle of survival in the wasteland is his gesture of tributing to Romanticism and an attempt to resurrect sublimity. His constant questioning “what will be new under the sun” by observing current unrest and uncanny interaction between humanity and society while considering the tension between The Nature and The Anomalies to transverse and related his personal experience into an instinctive reflection with a symbolic suggestions to position the viewer as part of the narrative as an endeavour to contemplate on history and the present phenomenon and our role in our time.
